I saw two things this morning that questioned my belief that most people think before they act:
1. Why would you (being a "big wig" who makes decisions like that) start construction on a sidewalk in the middle of winter (especially when there is a foot or more of snow on the ground)?
2. What is the purpose of high-heel pleather boots in January? They can't provide much protection from the ice and snow. And they can't be very safe either. I guess I'm just not a fashionista. I wear my practical snow boots and change into my flat dress shoes once I get to work. I can' imagine the pain this lady had to go through just walking across the uncovered parking lot.

High heeled pleather is hawt, dude. Totally appropriate for snow and ice. I wear mine to shovel the driveway and help stranded drivers on the highway. Of course. :P
