Atypical or A typical blog?

Yes!  I have decided to join millions of others and have started a blog.  I've been resistant to join the masses for many reasons, none of which matter now because I have given in.  First I got a cell phone (in 2001 - and now I couldn't live without it - mostly because I call John ALL the time to remind or ask him things).  Then in January 2008 I got a facebook account (I said it was to be able to access my brothers pictures that he was taking in Jerusalem - but he is back now and I still am adding friends & applications).  And now the final step (hopefully - but who knows what thing they will come up with next) - a blog.

I guess there are a few things you should know about me before you start following my blog.  

1.  I am using this blog as a type of journal.  I will mostly talk about the adventures our family is having & brag about our accomplishments.

2.  I have a problem with run on sentences.  I minored in English so I don't really have an excuse.  But I just love (parenthesis) and -dashes-.

3.  I will probably be writing most posts at the end of the day or at night (to stop the wheels in my head from continually turning while I'm trying to go to sleep).  This may be a good thing or it may not.  It may just keep me up - which it is doing at the moment.

4.  I vow that I will not keep up with the Joneses by adding the latest cool features or junk to this blog.

Pretty much this blog will be a typical blog - about our family.  I do hope that along the way we have some atypical experiences that I will share.
